BETTER BEGINNING

One way to make things better is if you do things better. Faith without works is dead. Things are not working for some people because they have not done their part. When you are blessed, riches come with your blessing. Better beginning means you want an improvement in all areas of your life and remember that without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). To see things, happen in your life, you must believe.

Four Things to do to Have a Better Beginning:

1. You must believe the Word of God. You must believe that things will get better. You cannot receive what you do not believe. You must accept the Word of God whether it makes sense or not. God says He wants to give you a better beginning, so one important thing you need to do is to just believe.
2. You must go over the areas of your failures. The reason for correction is to know what you have done wrong. Christians fail to take the self-assessment. Assess your marriage, assess your life, consider how you are relating with others. Also assess your spending, assess yourself. Nothing gets better without examination — for example, in the story of the prodigal son or David and Saul. David did a self-assessment, but Saul did not. As a Church, we must assess ourselves. Nothing improves without assessment (2 Corinthians 13:5). Did you notice that every new model of a car is an improvement to the previous one? The reason is that they studied the old model and made needed improvements in the new one. Also notice that the only thing that never changes are the tires. And the reason is that some things must remain stable in our lives.
3. You must look for people that will help you get better. Two is better than one. The Bible says, and two shall become one. It is not only a statement for marriage alone. It is an idea (principle) of partnership (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Do not let pride destroy you, there is nobody that knows it all. You need people to add to what you know.
4. You need Divine means for things to get better this includes our family life including how to raise your children. All temptation taken are such that are common to men. Always seek Divine help. Nothing can work on its own without God’s involvement. That is why we have the anointing. Anointing is not just the oil, but it empowers you. Sometimes we need a Higher Power to help us get better. If not for God, Jacob would have remained Jacob, but God’s empowerment turned him from Jacob to Israel.

Somebody say it is my turn to become better. Lord let everything become better for me. Help me to partner with the right people. May things get better than your imagination in Jesus’ Name – Amen!
